ウォーリー（木下）さんの演出は今回初めてでしたが、稽古がとても楽しかったです。最初に台本を読んだときには想像もつかなかった形になっています。こういう解釈があるのか！と驚きの連続でした。ウォーリーさんと何度も組んでいる（須賀）健太からは、『稽古場でどんどん、変わっていきます。』と聞いていましたが、この身近な家族の物語が、最終的に宇宙に帰結していくとは！
今日ここで初日を迎えられることが、一つの奇跡のように感じています。どんな舞台も初日はありがたく大切なのですが、この状況下で、その大切さをより一層、感じます。
横山さんの書かれた、この『粛々と運針』は、物語性がとても強くありつつ、私的な解釈ができるところも多いので、お客様自身が考える余白をぜひ、楽しんでいただきたいと思います。作品ページへ
